The Association of Patent Attorneys signed a Cooperation agreement with the Lithuanian Society of Young Researchers
Being convinced of the importance of communication between patent attorneys and researchers on 17 November 2014 the Association of Patent Attorneys signed a Cooperation agreement with the Lithuanian Society of Young Researchers.
Cultural programme by the Association of Lithuanian Patent Attorneys
When organising seminars and other events, the Association of Lithuanian Patent Attorneys aims to broaden their horizons not only in the field of IP law, but also in the areas of culture and Lithuanian history. Organising camps or seminars lasting for several days at a different location each year has become a tradition to us.
This year Lithuanian Patent Attorneys Association’s camp took place in a beautiful Dzukija region. The event started in a cozy church of Dubiciai with a service later followed by a classical music concert where a singer Gintare Skeryte and an organist Dalia Jatautaite played some classical melodies. After the concert, everyone moved to a summer house of Reda and Alvydas Zaboliai where they participated at a flag raising ceremony.
On 29 of May, the Lithuanian Patent Attorney Association has celebrated the 20th anniversary. The event took place in the Art Museum of Vytautas Kasiulis. On this occasion the Association was congratulated by Mr. Paulius Griciūnas, the Vice-Minister of Justice; Ms. Lina Mickienė, the Deputy Director of the State Patent Bureau delivered a speech; the first presidents of the Association, Mr. Marius Jakulis Jason, Mr. Leonas Kučinskas, and the current president Ms. Otilija Klimaitienė shared their recollections and congratulated the association on achievements.
The exhibition on the occasion of the world intellectual property day was opened on 25th of April, 2014 at the Lithuanian Technical Library. It is designated to meet the development of patent system in the independent state of Lithuania and the beginning of it in the prewar independent state of Lithuania.
On 29th January, 2014 the Association of Lithuanian Patent Attorneys organised seminar on “confidential information in intellectual property area, its protection methods and legal liabilities”. This seminar was aimed at patent attorneys and other specialists who prepare agreements on trade secrets and other business matters.
