On 13th March, 2014 Professional Qualifications Committee organised its second seminar which this time focused on invention’s patentability criteria and patent claims. This workshop was designed for patent attorneys and professionals who prepare patent claims. The seminar was presented by a patent attorney Vaclovas Kiskis, who also holds a doctoral degree in technological sciences. He is particularly experienced in engineering and provides services in Lithuania and Europe. In addition, he advises on matters related to patentability and alternative protection options of the industrial property. During the seminar, the participants discussed about the invention’s patentability criteria and how to draft a patent claim. They also examined dozens of published invention’s claims.
